Major Creek Cellars is a small family winery. We make premium red wine such as Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. We emphasize gentle extraction and balance in very small lot production. We are one of the smallest wineries in the Columbia River Gorge with a total focus on producing the best wine in a very balanced style. The only mechanical action done to the grapes is the crusher, everything else is gravity flow or the use of nitrogen to move the wine. We only filter the rose', all other wines settle clear over a minimum of 18 months barrel aging and up to 30 months in the case of Cabernet Franc. We use very low levels of oak and sulfite to finish the wines.
